The Beginning

Allergy fatigue began my encounter with honey and honeybees. A close friend suggested to me that natural and local honey helps  fight allergies. At that time, I did not like nor ate honey.  I was skeptical but I was sufficiently miserable, so one day I decided: I  had nothing to lose. I had a Chemistry Professor who still is a hobbyist beekeeper from whom I bought jars of local honey and took daily doses. I gradually became aware of some improvement in my allergy woes. One day I was out of honey and my Professor had none with him, so I ended up going to his home for a honey refill and thus began my fascinating adventure and physical introduction to the bee hive and honeybees.

The Bee bug infected my heart

I found and continue to find honey bees interesting and very fascinating; as I learned more about them I found so much enthusiasm that I joined the same local bee club my Professor attended and thus my beekeeping journey commenced. I manage my honey hives single-handedly to this point, and I sell out of the honey we collect every year. I have won several local honey show prizes beginning with my very first honey harvest and every local honey show I have entered thus far.

I aspire to provide my family, friends, and all my customers with the purest natural great tasting local honey one could harvest and market. I also aspire to provide fellow hobbyists beekeepers and those interested in buying good home grown honeybees a great source of locally grown nucleus hives, as well as quality queens for sale.
My parents have pitched in and they help with the production of our Bees Wax Candles, Lip Balms, Hand Lotion and our very Savory Creamed Honey. We are growing and are extremely excited from the responses and encouragement we have received from friends, neighbors and co-workers.
